i’ve been passively following urbit for years, and i still am hesitant about it. but it does make me feel feelings. this explainer will definitely help me relate urbit’s core concepts to my even-more-hesitant friends.
I’m not exactly sure what this is? The site is quite difficult to navigate, and not sure what “closed” “open” etc means? Is it a working group? Where does collaboration happen?
i’m not affiliated with the project and can’t speak with authority. but this is an art publication where guest-artists present internet-related work and/or personal research.
i wish there was more information about the editorial group and their process. i may reach out using their contact form in the hopes of getting more information.
and while i think it’s interesting that the website’s form is difficult, disjointed, and ephemeral, like much of the internet, i would agree with you that navigating the website is too painful.
Thanks for the info :) wasn’t really sure what was going on, but your explanation answers a lot.
