Hacktoberfest is coming up soon! The link has a field where you can add your email to get notified when it starts.

For those who don’t know what Hacktoberfest is, it’s an event hosted by GitHub, Digital Ocean, and newly this year Twilio to promote social coding by awarding participates who make pull requests that help close issues on projects. Last year they gave out free T-shirts to anyone who made at least 5 pull requests added into a repo and I’m assuming there will be a similar prize this year.
