Oh absolutely. I’m sure there are many things on that would benefit from some ansible-ization, for no other reason than preserving configurations!
And for recovery, or migrations to a new host. Also, when done in a git repo, offer transparency for many admin actions (Who did what, and why).
The transparency is definitely one of the main benefits for me.
I’ve had reasonably good luck migrating hosts without an ansible-ized configuration setup.
