Mozilla decides to replace IRC with Matrix as their public communications platform for their community. This will be hosted by modular.im.

      The trend Mozilla was following when they announced decomming IRC made be certain they would be going with slack or MS Teams…

      Glad they surprised me here.

        definitely better than the alternatives!

        i’m still a bit disappointed they’re closing down irc, but that’s their decision.
